    Hey guys,

I need a recommendation for a decent Ethernet to USB Adapter/Cable; I'm guessing a USB 3 would be the latest and greatest.

    Thank you

hey marc515, I am so agreed with your idea of "a USB 3 would be the latest and greatest". I have no idea about what PC you are going to use with an Ethernet to USB Adapter/Cable. But according to your post words, I will recommend the following : USB3.0 3 ports HUB with 1 RJ45 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Wired Network Adapter. I bought it at a prominent price which works in a great way. I think it may be attractive to you because it add a favor of 3 usb 3.0 ports. :)

The Startech USB3 -> Ethernet cable apparently does pretty well in USB3, like 800MBit throughput - which is as fast as some only slightly older 'enterprise' network adapters.

Amazon.com: StarTech.com USB 3.0 to Gigabit Ethernet NIC Network Adapter - 10/100/1000 Network Adapter - USB to Ethernet LAN Adapter - USB to RJ45: Computers & Accessories

(And yes, I've stripped out the referrer code unlike the above)

Bear in mind though that the actual speed obtained depends on what you're talking to.
