I need a laptop sleeve for my ASUS W3V.. something I can slip it inside so that I may throw it in my backpack (well not throw).

So far I've seen the Sumdex one online and the review here was helpful and good, but the only thing I don't like is the stitched handles.

    Sumdex - http://www.yesbags.com/PUN-854.php

Another one I've come across is Case-PC.. Anyone know anything about this one?

    Case-PC - http://www.case-pc.com/products.html

I don't want to spend more than $30 and get something good, any recommendations?

    Oh, and my W3V is a 14in wide screen @ 1.3in thin.

    Measurements are 13"x9.7"x1.3"

    Thanks.

Yeah I checked there, the only case which seems reasonable is the Case Logic and it's a bit big, made for 15.4" laptops.

I like the pc-case one i posted above, not sure if anyone knows anything about it.

The monolith is nice.. I'm looking at the Soft Cell right now, runs $30 and looks clean and nice. Dust may be a factor without a zipper.. but it would just be used to go in my backpack.

Thanks for the link.. Now I'm deciding on the tom bihn and case-pc.

On the eBags selector, try reversing the order of the two largest dimensions (e.g. 9x13 instead of 13x9). Some are listed in a nonstandard fashion, and many do not specifically list the dimensions of the case - only that it is designed for a laptop and possibly the maximum reasonable diagonal size it will hold.

All of the above holds true for backpacks and messenger bags as well.

    Best,
    Howie
