I been looking for a bag for my U150, but I'm not sure what's good. I'd like to take my U150 of course, then maybe a couple external drives, the adapter and some small tools. Anyone got a suggestion? Thanks for any help.

Are you looking for a backpack or messenger? (I am guessing messenger) Also whats you budget? It might be a more flexible option to go with a sleeve+bag solution.

Tombihn.com makes nice bags. All their stuff is made in their inhouse factory in Seattle so it costs a little more. I use the Brainbag backpack and the Braincell sleave (which gives an amazing amount of protection, but its thicker than most sleaves).

Incase is another company that makes nice stuff. I've never seen it in person though. Their stuff is very classic business looking but surprisingly they incorporate alot of skateboard specific features.

Check out these vids to see what I mean.

Well I don't see spending $200 on a bag for a laptops that wasn't much more. I was thinking maybe $20-30, but it there was something else that was less, that'd be good too. I'm pretty sure I don't want a backpack unless there's something that wows me. It seems most of the netbook cases I see are for 10.2" netbooks, but mines 11.6". Does that make a difference? I just need something for my notebook, the adapter and may a couple drives. I should point out the battery does stick out the bottom more than most. Thanks for the replies.

If the battery stick out, it might be better to opt for the more common 12.1'' sleeves/cases.

Ebags tends to have lots of sales and coupons (if you sign up for their email). You might be able to find the smaller bags from Crumpler at a fair price. For something cheaper, Case Logic's products are ok too.

As mentioned above, Tom Bihn also make very good products. :D Incase are ok, I saw a couple of them at the apple store, seems alittle expensive though.

I'm thinking a messenger bag or a case with a strap that's detachable might be the way to go, but I really have no clue. It'd be nice to have another compartment to store some peripherals and some padding for my netbook. My other laptop bag I got for free from NBR for writing the review of it, but it works well enough.

wewt! just snagged the incase messenger bag! I've been looking for a water proof non-survival bag (aka not a tarp). Of course I didn't get the skateboarding bag, i only skateboard down hill in perfect weather with mattresses on either side of me.

Well, one option maybe worth considering is just getting a protective sleeve to protect your laptop, then a messenger bag to carry it. The only sleeve I have experience with is a tauri neoprene or whatever one. it was 10 bucks but i got it for free with my acer aspire one. I just have that in my messenger bag which has room for more stuff too like external harddrives and such. Here's a nice stylish bag i often see go on sale for under 50 a lot. You just gotta wait until it hits sale again I suppose.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I ended up getting the sling case Lenovo makes for the X100e. I'm thinking it will fit my notebook well since they're the same size. On sale right now at Lenovo for $25 too with the tax.
