I have a Sound Blaster World of Warcraft Wireless Headset and to be honest it is horrible. It's been replace once already and its still horrible, and now its outside of replacement. I find myself with $125 in Dell gift cards, and I need a headset that wont go into insane I REFUSE TO WORK BECAUSE MY BATTERYS NOT CHARGED even though its plugged in all the time mode.

Suggestions? I use my headset mostly for talking in Teamspeak 3 with buddies that I game with.

I can't recommend the Plantronics GameCom 377 enough. It's a very solid stereo headset, and very inexpensive these days; I think you can find it under $30 most places (it used to be $50). Sound quality is great, and the mic is good as well.

    Any suggestions from this list:
    Alienware TactX Headset
    Logitech G930 Wireless Gaming Headset
    Razer Carcharias Gaming Headset
    Megalodon Gaming Headset
    Logitech G35 Surround Sound Headset
    Piranha Binaural Stereo Gaming Headset
    Chimaera Wireless Gaming Headset
Logitech CLEARCHAT PC WLS HDSET-USB STER PC
    Logitech H330 USB Headset
    Banshee StarCraft II Gaming Headset

Because those are the ones dell has right now and I have that $125 worth of dell gift cards.

I have the Razer Carcharias. It's pretty solid. Overall good and balanced sound and clear mic, and it's extremely lightweight and comfortable.

From that list, I used to own an Alienware TactX and wasn't impressed.
It wasn't comfortable enough for me and the sound quality was average.
    I wouldn't recommend them.

I also used to own the G35 headsets.
I think the G930 are the same except being wireless.
The surround sound was pretty good but they are pricey.
They're also pretty tight around your ears and you'll be sweating after long use.
I dropped the G35 once and it broke into two and Logitech refused to repair or send a new one.
    But that's just my experience.

Razer Megalodon headset is what I'm using now.
Although many people don't like Razer, none of their products I've bought have turned out bad for me.
They are pricey but I got the Megalodon for $70 brand new here.
The surround is not as good as the G35 but they are COMFY!.
It also comes with a sound card so, should be better than the built in sound card of your laptop.
The sound quality in games and movies is great and you won't notice you're wearing them.
I wouldn't recommend them for music though.
Even if you change it to stereo mode (which you can using the audio processing unit), music quality on these headphones are poor.

I've never used the Charcarias but I think it's just the stereo version of the Megalodon.
    They seem almost identical physically.
Note that the G35 and the Megalodon are USB headsets so you won't be able to use them with your iPod for example. (even if you could, you won't enjoy it)

If I had to pick one from the list, it would be the Megalodon. But I haven't used some of the headsets in that list so there might be better ones in there.

My vote for Razer Megalodon. Good sound, light, comfy. Expensive, but still worth every cent.

if budget is not an issue, the Sennheiser PC 360 is pretty amazing...

only minor issue is that it does not isolate the outside noise... and bugs me when my wife watches annoying korean game shows next to me when i'm raiding...
