    Hi!

    So I'm going to buy headset w/. mic. Mostly for gaming, but I don't know which one to pick up :confused:

    I have found those two;
    1. Sennheiser PC 350 Pro - Pro Gaming Headset
    2. Razer Barracuda HP-1 gaming headset
    (The price diffrence between them isin't that big, can almost say the same. But, everybody I asked likes Sennheiser very good)

    Is there any other good headsets out there ?
    This is the first time I'm going to buy something like this :D :D

    The Plantronics GameCom 377 (or 777 if you really must have virtual surround). It's $50, and the best sound quality I've ever heard in a headset; I often use them as regular headphones for music as well. The mic quality is fantastic as well.

    I personally would get a normal set of headphones and a clip on mic or one that I set on my desk. It seems to me that normal headphones have better soundquality versus price than these headsets.

    I originally bought the 777s, and returned them for the 377s, because they are the exact same headset. The only difference between them is the 777s come with an extra Dolby usb adapter that you plug the headset into.

    I couldn't really notice a difference with the adapter vs without the adapter, so I exchanged them and saved myself $50. ;)

    Logitech Clearchat PC Wireless I used to own Sennheiser PC 161, but I messed them up a bit by pulling on the cord. Then I've decided to go with a cheaper option and couldn't be happier. Logitech headset is light, comfortable and cordless, so you can walk around and listen to music\teamspeak\etc. There is a mute mic and sound buttons on the set, it lasts 6 hours without being charged. Mic is good, sound quality is decent too (obviously it won't match Seinnheiser 300$ models). It's a great product, I'd recommend it to anyone.

    I use the Razer Baracuda headphones. THey are plugged into the notebook Creative, extreme X-Fi express soundcard and give full 5.1 surround (including sub) They were £60 or so but, very good for gaming and media so worth it.

    Just my 2p...
