Hey guys,
Anyone have any experience with these projectors? I'm kind of wary, they are pretty cheap and promise all sorts of things.
Usually that's a bad start. My friend has that little brookstone iPhone pico projector adapter one and it's pretty cool, useful at the very least even at 10 lumens.
Back to me though: I am running the Acer Ultrabook, S3. This model has an HDMI out only so I have to find an HDMI pico projector. My question though is should I get one of these or a monitor? The reason I am leaning towards the pico projector is because I find myself always moving the laptop around, this way I can double screen wherever I go.
What do you think? Opinions would be very much appreciated....![]()

....where do you go exactly?
if you're anywhere semi-public, flashing your screen onto a wall is still not socially acceptable. -
HahaI totally understand what you mean. I don't necessarily mean to literally pull out at a coffee shop etc.
I do a lot of video editing and photo editing so I keep thinking that I can use these projectors to show to potential clients as well as also at home as a second monitor when I am downstairs away from my battlestation.
I actually ordered one and it should be arriving tomorrow so I am pretty stoked. I will shoot a quick film and show off how it works!
bought this baby with a $25 dollar off coupon from the official aaxa store (coupon is GRADORDAD25)
