So I've recently gotten quite heavily into LoL, and I don't think my laptop KB will keep cutting it anymore. I'm looking for a backlit keyboard that has great ratings, is quite, and will work not just for gaming, but also for typing up a storm in regular use.
For the mouse, I don't really need much. 5 buttons would be nice, and bluetrack technology would be idea. Also -- the quieter the better.
Looking to spend $100 together. Any ideas?

$100 probably won't cut it for an MMO mouse + KB
CM Storm Rapid is $80 on Newegg, but does not have any MMO macro functions: Cooler Master Mechanical Cherry Blue switches gaming keyboard SGK-4000-GKCL1-US - Newegg.com
Naga 2014 - seems ok for 70$ (PTE sensor, don't lift your mouse up too much - it can jerk the cursor in a random direction): Newegg.com - Razer Naga 2014 MMO Gaming Mouse -
It's not an MMO, so I don't need any MMO functionality. That KB seems very small...and mechanical. Not sure if I like mechanical KBs, never had one.
Since being on a laptop for years, I find most keyboards tough to press

Deathstalker uses same keyswitch as laptop for $70: RAZER DeathStalker RZ03-00800100-R3U1 Black USB Wired Gaming Keyboard - Newegg.com (though, by my guess it would not be as durable. might be wrong though :/)
QuickFire TK (MX Red, less resistance to push) for $91: Newegg.com - CM Storm QuickFire TK - Compact Mechanical Gaming Keyboard with CHERRY MX Red Switches and Fully Backlit
V3 from a4tech ($36): Newegg.com - A4Tech Bloody Ultra Gaming Gear V3 Multi-Core Gaming Mouse - 3 Modes Left-Click, 160K Onboard Memory, 1ms Response Time - shape is like a razer death adder (right hand) - can be useful in some FPS games (macro program can control recoil) -> I have this mouse series, very solid build but click is a but noisy. -
deathstalker is an god awful keyboard, i used it for 4 days before replacing it (if you want to buy it i have it somewhere in my basement lol). for your needs just a microsoft mouse/keyboard combo since you play LoL instead of a fast twitch fps.

I have actually read up on the mechanical keyboards, and I'm going to see what I can get in the $120 range...Steelseries perhaps?
LoL requires much more "twitch" response peripherals than any FPS I have played so far. -
If not requiring for gaming, i suggest the mice based on ergonomics.

Intellimouse 1.1/WMO sounds good for that lol.

Yeah. Good recommendation. On the whole, the shape is appropriate to our right hands. The button part is thin while the tail is wide. That make us comfortable.
