Good day all,
well, I looked at EVERY store in my area for a decent all in one HP printer on sale, and could fine none. SO, I saw an HP Officejet ProL7680 at NewEgg for $146 out the door (and that includes the printer-to-USB cable, and tax. I think that's a GREAT deal considering that this printer cost $399 new from HP. Does anyone NOT recommend this printer ? Or, does anyone have this printer, or a printer like this with a positive experience? This thing has features that my old one only dreamed of having such as automatic feed, double sided copies/scans, 35PPM B&W, etc.
My last printer was an HP PSC15something, and was slow as heck. Well, for a 5+ year old printer, I guess I got my money's worth.
Any comments on the HP printers in question would be greatly appreciated as for I haven't bought a new printer in 5+ years lol.
I'll be using it for mainly printing documents online, and my parents will use the copy feature almost every other day.
Thanks for ANY comments![]()

hmm it seems like its a really great deal, seeing that you are saving 250 dollars plus free shipping. However the reviews from newegg doesnt look too good.

your printer will probably be dead in 4-5 months.
the display one we set up at work lasted about that time and has 2 problems now.
1) the ink door will not stay closed. we have to tape it closed.
2) it gets some error and all the lights flash on it continuously. we restart it and same thing
the printer was just set up on display, only printed from it once or twice and it's already broken.
plus the machine is huge -
Well, despite some bad reviews, etc. I ordered it (the HP L7680). My thought process was, for that price, how can you go wrong. Well, I'll give NewEgg LOTS of credit, not only do they have GREAT prices, but SUPER fast shipping as well. My printer came in the VERY NEXT day ! This thing is HUGE ! Took me a good 40 minutes to have it all setup. Upon the initial power-up, the printer thought it had a paper jam (even though I had put NO paper in it yet lol). Fixed that, then it claimed I had a "Ink Cartridge Jam" whatever the heck that means. Fixed that, and from then on, everything else went as smooth as can be. The setup of the software went VERY well, and this printer is SUPER fast at printing out both B&W and color documents.
All in all, I am VERY pleased with this machine, and I hope it last me longer then 5 months lol. -
that's good, glad you are satisfied. I hate it when i buy something and end up hating it. Especially if i got it online and returns are annoying. Hope it lasts more that 5 months also
