Hi, anyone can recommend a new cooling pad for my laptop in the sig. Ideally the fans need to be more near the rear as that's where the ventilation is ideally no more than £40 from an UK shop. I'd prefer higher build quality than plastic.

Before buying a cooling pad. I have to ask, how high are your temperatures? Because your hardware should not get that hot, if they do then a cooling pad will not help you.

Have been using this one for a couple of years now with impressive results. It's needless to mention that your mileage will vary due to the fact that your machine doesn't have much openings on the bottom to begin with, but I still believe it will make a difference blowing some air into the small central opening right above the CPU and GPU chips.

Sadly, checking NBC review of the Asus GL502VT I can see huge gap between the fan shroud and pipes; if you manage to seal this gap and maybe while you are at it repaste both dies, you will get amazing temperature drops.

I will second that on the NotePal coolers. Super simple adjustable design that just works.
My NotePal U2 has been very brave, beneath my 10lbs 17in laptop. May finally be time to upgrade to the U3.
