I just purshased a new laptop and, i am trying to make a picture of the C: ..

I have an external dd to do so.

I want to make a copy and a paste by selecting C : and, right-clicking where i want the files to be send but, it seems as the final backup is much smaller in size than the real C:.... Maybe i dont have the right way to do so. Can somebody help me about it. I ave read on internet that we can also make it on a usb key but, i would prefer to do the backup on the external dd.
