I'm going to have to get a new laser mouse soon since my current one is too small and the left mouse button is about to fail thanks to too much clicking. Are there any potential new products on the horizon I should look out for?

I'm not a big fan of FPS games and the only game that will likely require precision mouse control for me is Diablo 2, Dead Space and the Witcher. I'll consider my budget for the mouse when the time comes.

    Hello,
What is your budget and what type of mouse you prefer, with cord of with out cord?

Budget to be decided, I'll start saving now if need be.

Laser preferred for its versatility, optical doesn't work as well for me since some of my surfaces aren't too good with optical mice.

Definitely a mouse with a cord attached, I don't believe in wireless mice and don't like having to change batteries every so often.

No takers? I'm not asking this in one of the other gaming mice discussion threads because I just want to know whether any new products are seeing releases from Razer, Logitech or Microsoft which will make my purchase for a last-generation laser mouse somewhat unsound.

No new refreshes of the above products on the horizon then? The Logitech G5 and G9 are looking good for a purchase in a few months time once my current laser mouse dies on me.

Apart from the G9 to G9x refresh (when will this take place exactly?), any other product lines from Razer or Microsoft seeing refreshes in the near future?

I guess not, I'll probably post another thread when I do decide to make the purchase if I need another opinion.
