Hi,
my dad was looking for Active noise cancelling headphones since he travels a lot and catches new movies while travelling only. And as headphones in flights are pathetic so its Better to have your own headphones in flight.
I was looking at Sennheiser PX150
Can u guys recommend any other models?
something less than $60.

ScifiMike12 Drinking the good stuff

Though I'm not sure if they are available in your area. -
I use philips earbuds, some 19.99 from Best Buy and I am on my 4th set. They have killer sound, last 6months-year and are great for sound can celling for the price.
-
$10 skullhead ink'd, they're okay, you can still hear some of the ipod hardrive whine/noise/thingamajiggy
-
$3 from China that is a fake knock offs of my old Sennheiser PC150 that broke on me. This pair has lasted me over a year. Im shocked that it has lasted longer than 1 month but it's still running.
-
I have decided never to buy made in china stuff..
all are bloody bAAD, and get spoilt and never run good.
Horrible experience.
Audio technica also makes NC h'phones.
which model is that? -
Isnt noise isolating cheaper than noise cancelling? If youre willing to buy earbuds i would suggest the Ultimate Ears Super fi; i have a pair and they are amazing for drowning out my roommate when i dont want to hear him and his bs

Hey i figured Passive NC is good enough.
so my Senns HD205 will do.
I heard on Cnet.com & NY timesthat Active noise cancelling is only good with high end h'phones and Logitechs arent good.
so why waste money then.
although i am still open to your suggestions if u have tried out some new brands.
other than Bose... can u guys recommend some brands. -
Ar I seem chinese brands are pretty crap lol...
But yeah, I know that Philips makes quite a few different models of noise canceling headphones. But personally I still think noise isolation earphones are the way top go (speaking from personally experience). -
I agree with Johnny T.

I recommend earphones as well. Cheaper noise-canceling phones don't cancel noises very well, and even better sound noise-canceling phones pale in comparison to better headphones in sound quality. Plus, earphones are so easy to carry. I used ATH-CK7 in 12 hours flight recently, and it worked well - you will want to get replacement tip for better seal, though - I uses UE double-frange tip.
Other good 50$-80$ ones are
Etymotic ER-6
Ultimate Ears Super Fi3
Denon AH-C551 (you will want replacement tip for this as well, though) -
Ultimate Ears gives you a case and a variety of tips as well, and so getting UE you will not have to go out and by more rather simply use the ones that it came with; i believe i got 3 or 4 extra different tips along with the default ones.
-
The double frange ones dont fit it my ears...
But the normal rubber tips works well enough.
-
I use Altec Lansing Noise Cancelling Headphones.... unsure of the model though
-
I got a set of Jabra C820s Noise Cancelling headphones from Woot! for $50.
The only downside to them is when you turn off the active noise cancelling, the audio is muted a bit. When turned on they sound really good. -
wow, will check out these.. look awesome ..
u got all the accessories with it or u bought separately?
