I just got the North Face Box Shot pack. I will use it for the first time on Monday. My T400 fit in the laptop compartment snugly - (with 9 cell). Actually it fits past the zippers snugly, but once it side, it has some room.

The pack seems pretty good. I like the power supply compartment on the bottom, makes it easy to find the power supply without having to dig around. I like that the laptop is in its own compartment. Seems to have good room for additional "stuff."

I had a cheapo pack that I was using before (bought at walmart). It actually was a good pack, but it was lacking in protection for my laptop. I am happier with the protection from TNF pack. I wil try and post up some pics in the next week or so. I want to see how I really like this pack first.

The pack is NOT cheap. I paid $95 delivered through Moosejaw.com. With all NF products you are paying for a few things; quality, lifetime guarantee, and the name.

I debated between the Box Shot and the Surge. I am not quite sure why I finally decided on the box shot.
