    Hey guys,

I was looking for a laptop backpack for the longest time and I came across the North Face Surge. It's perfect.

I looked EVERYWHERE for the best deal and I found it! Shipping's pretty slow, because it's a small company, but it's exactly what I asked for. You get a free water bottle too! And there's no shipping costs or sales tax!

    Anyways, here is the link:

P.S. I recommend the Black. The Green is pretty ugly.

Does it have enough padding for the laptop?

Yes, it does. It has it's own dedicated compartment for the laptop and the compartment never touches the bottom of the bag (so it doesn't get damaged when you set it down on the floor). Also, it's kind of hidden and towards the back so it's really hard to tell there's a laptop in there.

The free Nalgene bottle is garbage and not good for your health. It's a bad product due to the material they use (BPA) and is being banned in Canada and possibly in the US as well. The bag is good though :)

edit: The bottle posted is polycarbonate which has BPA, only the new Nalgene's made of polyester and stainless steel are BPA free. The polycarbonate bottles are being phased out.

    Um....sure.

This post isn't about the water bottle, it's about the bag. Just pointed it out as a bonus.
