    Hi all:

Going to purchase a laptop in the next few days, and am looking for a notebook bag (as the title would suggest :) ) - no sleeves please, since I would like something which carries the few accessories that I need for the laptop. What I am looking for:

    • something on the thin and light side - I need it to carry the laptop, a full-sized mouse (like a desktop mouse, not laptop mouse), the usual wires and power brick, and maybe some space for a few papers, CD/DVD's and a general purpose pouch

    • looks are of importance - I would like it to look stylish, sleek and unique

    • not too expensive - around the $50 CAD mark?

Hopefully my requirements can be met - I might be willing to pay more for something which really meets my needs.

    Thanks in advance.

Im not from AUS so dont know the best local deals/ online shops but something to look into is the Belkin NE-MS series. They are quite discrete but sturdy laptop bags made of canvas (who carries a laptop in a canvas bag?!) so they go unnoticed. I have pre-ordered mine in the UK.

What about Sumdex Bag, try googling it. They have good quality messenger bag.

Hmm... actually, looking at the Sumdex stuff, it seems the sleeves are pretty darn cool.

Can someone recommend some laptop sleeves which are also capable of holding the stuff I mentioned? I think sleeves are the size/form factor that I am looking for. I have seen some from Case Logic which seem to fit the bill, although I don't have any brand preference, just looking for good quality, and of course it has to meet the aforementioned needs.
