    Hello guys,
This is probably something that has been asked many times before but I want to hear something from experience. I am looking to buy a Cooler Pad for my e1505 as well as a lcd cleaner kit. I got the truebrite screen and it gets really dusty sometimes. I checked at amazon.com for ideas but it didn't help much. I saw few lcd cleaner kits but with all bad feedback on them, causing damage on the lcd. The thing is that i use microfiber piece but sometimes it does not help much and I want something else. Anyways any suggestions will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have a targus cooler that I bought from Walmart for 25.00 It does its job. It is nice for a cheap cooler. I also saw some LCD cleaners there, but I do not trust them. I know exactly what you are talking about with the dust though. I have an E1505 with the Truebrite or what ever it is.

I might go buy a cleaner tommorow, and I will tell you how it goes.

I agree with you Mike, that looks like a very good one. Probably would look good with an Inspiron like this guy has as well.

for screens, just use windex. you can get the vinegar based one without ammonia if you want, they're all streak free, just make sure to use a soft microfiber cloth or something that won't leave dust.

    I second the bytecc cooler.

Hey guys - Staples sells a pretty cool LCD cleaning kit. I've used it on my flat panels and laptops....and it worked great. It works kind of like putting wax on your car...you use 2 different steps...but works really great and feels like it did a great job too - get it at Staples.com for like 5 bucks

Thanks guys. The cooler is my next buy for sure. As for the cleaning kit i have to think about it. I have read that people have damaged their anti-glare coating using cleaning kits.. may be the same with the glossy coating, I do not want to spoil it. Marketingman have you tried these on glossy notebook screens?

I got myself a screen protector from http://www.shaggymac.com/ and used some of the iKlear wipes that came with it, which worked perfectly on my glossy screen with no problems. All the klear products can be found at http://www.klearscreen.com/ and elsewhere.

I highly recommend the Shaggymac Optimist Prime LCD Cleaner Spray. It cleaned all of the hard to get smudges and left the screen perfect.

As far as cooling stands check out the APC Ergonomic Laptop Cooling Platform.

I have a E1505 and everthing stays cool around the battery area and the fan side of the laptop, but the memory area and what ever is on the side of it(excluding the fan side) gets pretty warm. will this bytecc cooling pad fix this?
