My Dell XPS m1330 will be arriving next weds and i am looking into buying a notebook cooler. People say The Zalman Cooler is good. But is it suitable for my m1330?
After all, M1330 is only 13.3 inch. Other than Zalman is there any other suggestions?
Thanks ahead

Based on this photo, i would say the Zalman is about 90% suitable. Note that there aren't any 100% suitable coolers. -
thanks
but i heard someone on this forum said that the Zalman cooler only work for notebook front to middle part of the notebook? -
so would the zalman will effectively cool down my notebook ? Esp the palm rest area. I don't need like 100% cool down but at least not burning hot .

The holes area are about 26x15cm wide. Just place your notebook forward by some bits and you should cover the area as well.
Yea, i guess it would cool down the palm rest area by cooling the component that is generating the heat. My notebook is not as hot as before. The HDD (the palm rest heater) used to be 42celcius without the cooler, it is now at 35~37celcius. I would say it works. -
The 26x15cm holes are u talking about the Fan area just below the battery according to your pic ?
thanks =) -
The holes for the Zalman, the area is about 25cmx16cm.
BTW, there are full black version (which i have).. they are very nice -
oo i see
really? From the pic i find the silver one is nicer . -
also , where can i find a good price on this ? yea silver is nicer , but i never seen the black version in real life.
-
I can only say it ll be like 40 to 50usd + shipping... search the forum, i think someone posted the best price somewhere around here.
