I have a Zalman NC1000 that works great, however, it eats up one of my USB 3.0 ports and effectively converts it into the free USB 2.0 port on the body of the cooler.

Are there any good coolers that can pass through USB 3.0 or act as a USB 3.0 hub?

Or, is there some sort of AC to USB adapter I can use to power the cooler instead of plugging it into my laptop?

    Thank you both very much!

I didn't even consider that I could simply connect it to my iPhone USB charger. I suppose all I really need is an extra long USB cable.

yup, that's a great way to power your cooler. u could pick up USB cords, of all kinds, off of meritline.com for really cheap.

i just bought a cheap mini AC-powered USB hub to power my cryo LX. that way all of my laptop's USB ports are open and never stressed.
