Which notebook cooler do you guys currently use? I'm building my own for home use(complete with usb hub, gadget charging tips, etc) but i'd like one that i can take on the go that can be run off USB or be battery powered

price isn't an issue so hit me up with your best suggestions :D

I was thinking of making my own for home to, But I wasn't sure if it would be safe to connect the fans right to a usb cord then to a usb. How are you doing it?

For ones you can take with you look at the ZM-NC1000 (google it) there are really nice looking and have had good reviews.

Look on newegg, VIZO has one who looks really good (all aluminum) very similar to the NC-1000 and a lot cheaper.

I would suggest getting this instead: http://targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=PA243U

I havent had good luck with Powered ones with fans. Ive had two. Different brands too. They both "surged the USB port" by taking to much power than supported as windows stated. On the other computer i tested, the cool pad just shut off. So, i dont use them anymore. I like the current one i have, i suggest it to you.
