I've gotten really tired of lugging around my laptop case along with my bookbag at school. I've thought about getting a notebook sleeve for my HP DV5. Are there any that have a hard plastic sheet on each side of it?

Whether it's one that has hard side (if they exist) or just a regular sleeve, what is the most inexpensive (I know the word cheap isn't liked on here, lol) one I can get that will do the job?

I forgot to mention my purpose is so that I can just carry it around in my bookbag inside it's sleeve but I want something that can protect it from a couple books I might have in there as well.

I use a WaterField Designs sleeve, they're going to cost you around $50-60 but it has protected my dv5 for the last two years - not a scratch on it and I've taken it through airports, buses, in and out of my car, etc.

WaterField Designs is the best quality stuff on the market with a reasonable price tag and they have unmatched customer service. Every notebook I have bought in the last four years has been protected by one.

Thanks for all the suggestions. Unfortunatly I test fit my notebook in my bookbag and it seems it barely fit in there (the corners of the notebook poke out) so even adding a case will make it barely fit in there. My only other option I guess would be to get a bookbag with a notebook section built in but thats still a pretty expensive option unless I see one on sale. I guess I'll just stick with my dorky Targus case from 1999 (it even has pockets for floppy disks. lol)

The Zeroshock III sleeve (made by Shinza, imported from Japan) has worked very well for my Thinkpad T500 in the 10 months I've had it. Fits perfectly in my Samsonite messenger bag.
