I have a IBM THinkpad Z61t and I want to get a TV TUner for it. I know that they are offered in USB 2.0 and PCMCIA format. Which one is better or faster? Is there a particular model or brand that is very good (i.e. Avermedia)?

videohelp.com has a very good list of what's available. I use the Hauppauge USB2 PVR and am pretty happy with it, but can't recommend it or any other until you know what's available.
