hi guys I have recently been looking for a decent bag to carry my notebook and other university items around with me on campus, I have a locker so I don't have to carry everything with me so I didn't need a HUGE bag but at least a decent sized one, and I think I've found the perfect one.
HOWEVER I pose a question to you, this backpack has the laptop compartment in a weird place, its in the centre of the bag basically and I was worried this might cause some damage to my baby. Is this a good bag to buy or should I forget about it?.
heres the link! if you read the details the zippered section 2nd from the front is where the notebook is supposedly stored.

Looks like a very nice backpack.
The notebook compartment being in the center of the bag seems like an odd location, but I don't see it as being a big issue if it's a well padded compartment.
Have you seen the backpack in person or just online? It might be a good idea to see the compartment and check the padding yourself.
I really don't think it would be a problem and it looks like a really nice backpack. -
I have a laptop bag from Caribee I must say that they are very good, I have the Cyber 17", only problem is that my ASUS C90s has the turbo gear which makes it unable to fit in the padded laptop slot so I put it in the other slot and have put foam padding all around it.

I have been using an STM bag for a few years that has the laptop section in the middle. From memory, the idea was to not have the flat section of the laptop against your back as this is not flat. It also meant that there would be more padding between the laptop and your back making it more comfortable.
I recommend that you take the laptop in and try it in the bag When I got my ASUS F3Sv, I had to replace the bag as it didn't have padding to the top of the laptop. I had a lot of trouble finding a bag as the F3Sv has feet sticking out the bottom on the back that mad it a bit bigger and seemed to get caught in the material of the bag when putting it in.
Notebook backpack by Caribee, what do you think?
