    Hey guys,

I am looking for relatively inexpensive backpack that also has place to put my dslr. Open to any brand.

    Thanks

Most laptop backpacks were not designed for DSLR, but many DSLR backpacks were designed to carry a laptop.

Based on that, I think you should ask this in reverse: A DSLR backpack that has a compartment for a Laptop.

And you may get better answers in a DSLR forum.

    Kata backpacks are good.

What size laptop compartments are you looking for?

Crumpler backpacks are quite large and sturdy.
Also case logic has a few as well

My advice is to just wrap your camera in a t-shirt and stuff it in any laptop backpack that isn't too tight on space. Do the same with the lenses (should be able to take a slight beating). This is what I do usually.

If not, have a look at the Lowepro backpacks.
