    Notebook bags dilemma...

    I got a sort of dilemma here, i recently bought a messenger laptop bag, the Samsonite Proteo Formal Office Case Plus, i had a few choices to make and i picked this one, i don't know if made the right decision, this is a big and heavy case, sure is good and keep my XPS m1530 safe but i was planning on using this case to storage my books and stuff whenever i don't need to move my laptop, but once again it is huge!

    I feel like selling it and buy some other more "portable" one that i can use as a sort of backpack when i don't have to take my laptop to college, and still be good and safe for my XPS, i was thinking of a Wenger Comet or the Impulse or something like it.

    The question is, what you people think about the Samsonite proteo and my plan also which one would you recommend me to buy...

    I can feel your dilemma. I once bought a nice bag for my new laptop, before it arrived. When it arrived, I found that the laptop came with a nice, smaller bag and I was thinking whether I should have bought the first bag.

    My recommendation is to stick with the Samsonite Proteo and stuff both your books and your laptop into it. I'm doing the same thing with my X61 and I love it. Anyway, laptop bags are not easy to sell on eBay.

    But if you really want to sell the Samsonite and buy a new laptop, I've sent you a private message recommending some good models.

    Hi, thanks for the recommendation, About the Samsonite Proteo bag its a very good bag, it can keep my XPS, books and a bunch of stuff more, but is heavy and big, it look even bigger considering that i'm a short slim dude! and planing to take it to college every day...
