    Hi all @notebookreview,

I have just ordered a SavRow Blade-75 laptop ( www.savrow.com) and want to know if anyone can give me an idea for a suitable notebook cooler? I hate :noisyfan: !

I have seen a review for a Vantec LapCool 4, but I don't think its specifically for larger 17" notebooks...the reviewer said his 15.4" laptop hung over the edge, but the rubber feet kept it in place. Would a 17" laptop be too big for it?

The notebook will be used primarily for gaming and I'll need to keep the nvidia 7800GTX cool!

    cheers,

    arunz

Thanks for the reply nyako - the build quality doesn't look fantastic (bargain though)

I had a look around newegg and found a Coolermaster notebook cooler designed specifically for 15" and 17" notebooks:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16834999017

more expensive, but it looks like what I'm looking for - a cooler specifically for 17" widescreen notebooks.....only potential problem I see is that the cooling pad covers the front of the notebook, which I will be using for headphones!

    O RLY? :)

Anyways, I'll go for the Coolermaster and let you know how it is- I forgot my Sennheiser PC145 headphones have a built in sound card which connects via USB, so the front of the laptop being covered won't be a problem!
