I have a dv9000t w/ a 1.66 Intel core 2 duo and a 256mb 7600. While doing intensive processes, the laptop can get pretty hot. I'm looking for a laptop cooler. I don't really care how loud it is and I don't really care how portable it is.

What is the best notebook cooler out there in terms of price and how much it lowers temperature?

I'm looking into the Pacific breeze.

I'd prefer it to be under 30 bucks.

    Thanks!

EDIT: It's a 17 inch computer w/ fans on the bottom.

You could use the targus chill pad. It is like $30 with or without a USB hub build in.

Well, I've read that the targus doesn't really cool down your comp very well. The Pacific Breeze is the best one I've found yet. Are there any better coolers than the Pacific Breeze?

Zalman ZN-MC1000 is probably the best 17" notebook cooler

For a portable notebook cooler, then you can bring with you, I recommend:
    Vantec LapCool4

I use the LapCool4 with my 17" Clevo, which also weighs 12.5 pounds... it works great.

I'll second the Zalman MC1000 recommendation above. It's got to be the best 17 inch notebook cooler around.
