    Has anyone tried using a notebook cooler with a 17" laptop? Looking at the pictures and reviews, this doesn't seem to be a given.

    I didn't get any replies the last time I posted this question. SOMEONE out there has to have a 17" laptop that was crisping their <ahem> organs.

    I've been looking into the same problem. the best I've come up with is this. please let me know if you've made an progress. they just don't seem to make a notebook cooler large enough for 17" notebook. and I'll tell ya my acer 1712 needs it. peace

    Bytecc NC500 Aluminum stand. Cools very well. Well worth my $25 bucks. Cools HHD down to 28*c

    read my thread on CoolerMaster's new product......it's a widescreen edition cooler for 15inchers and 17inchers...it should be out now as they said it would be released in november
