    Hello,

My Dell power adapter got busted yesterday, apparently a short circuit (I could hear a faint beeping noise from the adapter when plugged in). I want to get a replacement adapter and I found this at Newegg.

I was wondering if this is compatible with my laptop. I have a Dell 1520 notebook and my old adapter had 90W output with 4.62A current rating (Model#: LA90PS0-00, PA-10 family). I wanted to make sure that this is the right one before I buy it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

Personal experiences - never use a 3rd party ac adapter replacement. Look at eBay for some good offers and stay with the OEM replacement part.

    cheers ...
