thats not how you spell sleeve. I'd say any sleeve is good. I got a polyester (i think) sleeve and it protects my laptop very well

Yeah, I caught that after I submitted it. I was looking into case logic and mobile edge, which would you recommend out of the two.

What size notebook do you have? I like the Mobile Edge SlipSuits the best. The Slipsuit is made of water resistant neoprene and also has a full size external pocket for all your notebook accessories. Plus it's pretty easy on the wallet. And if you're a college student like me that is a huge plus. Hope this helps.

Does anyone have any experience with the Zeroshock sleeves? They seem to suit my requirement of a sleeve that actually offers some protection.

Do 15.4'' sleeves usually accomodate 9-cell batteries?

I'm thirding the recommendation of the Case Logic sleeve. I'm using the 13.3" sleeve on my 12.1" Samsung Q35 and it fits and protects the laptop well enough that I feel reassured to put it in a soft leather messenger bag.

I just got one for my Asus V1S, and it is great. Gives it plenty of cushion, so I am not worried the slightest bit about it getting damaged while carrying it around.

Any recommendations for a solid sleeve that will enable me to put my 8510p in something that doesn't scream "I have a PC in here"?.

Not really interested in any backpacks etc, which is why I'm curious if I'm okay with a sleeve in a good padded messenger bag.
