I just received my HP dv6t q.e. and I am looking for a notebook sleeve.

    Laptop's screen is 15.6". Largest dimensions are 14.88" x 9.71" x 1.39"

I have never owned a sleeve before, and typically used a bag or backpack with previous laptops.

The main purpose for the sleeve is to put into a backpack. Basically, to prevent scratches, dings, etc. I am not looking for major foam protection or anything like that.

The smallest, lightest, thinnest possible is what I am looking for.

A simple cheap thick small pillow case would do then. And they come with different designs. Stick it in, fold it and you are good.

    cheers ...
