I am interested in getting a wrap for my new Sager NP8275-S. So if you have recomendations, tips, pictures, then post away. Even if you just want to post the wrap the dealer did. It doesn't have to be a full wrap either.

I've always thought that faux black carbon fiber looked really sharp and classy but subdued, which is good because flashy laptops really aren't my thing. I'm sure you'll find a bunch of wraps which fit your specific laptop on eBay. Maybe fellow Clevo owners can chime in with their recommendations and experiences. Pictures of your handiwork would be awesome.

I've carbon wrapped my ThinkPad T420, it's a hell of a lot easier to clean than the standard rubber finish on the lid top.
It does take a lot of time though as I had to rip open the laptop to do it...
-
I do think carbon fiber is subdued, but a good look. Mine will be home bound, so it can be a bit more flashy though. -
I guess most people don't put wraps or stickers or skin protectors on their computers? That is too bad, as I think they look so good, are easy to do, and keep the laptop looking new.

I think faux carbon is pretty ugly & tacky - though faux stitching on faux leather takes the cake.
Infectious's site is offline at the moment - apparently they're re-jigging the content - but it's worth a look once it's up.
These days I cut my own vinyls for a layered semi protective effect - I make designs which cover the most vulnerable spots while not pasting the whole thing in vinyl. Sorry, not posting pix. -
They have their purpose and it typically would be to bring some new luster to an aging exterior or to cover blemishes, scratches, etc.. Its unlikely I'd apply it to a new laptop, unless it were pretty dull (Mac?) to begin with.
Anyway, I'm in the process of designing a logo and will be putting it on all my equipment but not likely my laptop--unless its pretty subtle. -
OK, here's two of the Infectious skins I like. This would have been like 2010.
I eventually stopped skinning Macs (not even with the Invisibleshields which the ultra-delicate finish of the Macs really could do with) because the number of times the POS's go to the shop, I got fed up of throwing away >$40 every time they had to do a case-related repair (such as screen replacement). I replaced with snap-on cases instead. -

The infectious skins look nice, not tacky to me. Thanks for posting.

Yeah, as I said their site's offline right now.

But I guess it'll be back. Some of the Gelaskins stuff can be nice, but it can be hard work separating the chaff from the wheat. -
Well hello, cheap car interior...

I just don't see the appeal in wraps...but then again I'm a minimalistic guy.

Imagine if every car only came in black...

You guys read my mind. I thought of another wrap or skin advantage today. I was handling a bare laptop today, and afterward you could see my finger prints. I should skin it.

Fair point. To each their own, I suppose.

That looks good from the outside. The inside is neat with the wallpaper. Not sure how it would look without the wallpaper, i.e. while using it. I can't believe they did every single key. Wow.

It's executed with skill. I guess the only question is 'why'.
