Hi, I recently bought a Notepal U2 cooler for my laptop. After using it for a couple of weeks, sometimes the fans make a really loud buzzing noise after plugging it in.

Taking a look at the fans as it does that, it seems like it's either hitting the sides or the fan stops spinning on the motor, as the fan slows down considerably. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and managed to solve it.

    Thanks for any help! :D

Fan bearings are probably dried out, it happened to mine as well.

The newer fans might be easier to add oil into, but on mine I had to dig out a bit of plastic to get to the inside of the fan; you're better off using the warranty for it.

    yep, mine does the same
i cleaned the fans, and it stopped for a while
after a week, it came back...
now i just hit it with my hand, and the vibration seems to stop/make the buzzing less annoying

if anyone knows how to fix this, would be greatly appreciated!
