Notepal... is it good enough for a M1530 with the 8600gt?

I know the M1530 has the fans in the back so a cooler with fans toward the top of the cooler will be more efficent than a cooler with the fans in the middle of the cooler.

I have 3 coolers here, I have the Notepal W1, The Zodiac by Evercool and the Vantec Lapcool 3.

The Notepal is very quiet and sucks air inside the cooler, the Zodiac and the Lapcool push the air out and the fans are centered in the middle of the cooler.

It's better I get a cooler with the fans blowing in or out?

i have a thermaltake cooler that suck air from the top to the side and i was fine with it on the macbook pro. it is hotter than a 3fan cooler that blow air directly to the chassis but at least i don't have to worry as much about dust getting onto the plate, or for you, accumulate more dust in the system.

Its not recommended for most systems such as the XPS M1530 that has fans that suck air from the bottom as it would have minimal effect and if too strong can damage the internal fan of the notebook. It works fine for the MBP since it has no fan intake

    OP:

You should go for a cooler that aligns with your fans and your other vents, as well as goes in the same direction as the fan (in your case the cooler should blow air upwards).

Alright, I'm gonna return this Notepal and get something more suitable for my laptop, it doesn't get quite warm.

The Notepal barely sucks in any air, it's very medicore at cooling.
