I've recently had an issue with my Nzxt Cryo LX cooler involving a sudden power outage. My laptop began to feel like it was running hotter than usual and inspected the cooler to find out the fans were not turning at all. I was able to receive a replacement set from Nzxt and tested them to make sure they would work prior to reassembly. With all three fans plugged in and all the connections in place, I plugged in the wall plug and alas...the fans were not spinning.
Curiosity got the better of me and I disconnected two of the fans to see if I could get at least one of them spinning. Success! However, I plugged a second fan in and the first fan began to lose power. Also, the green light on the circuit board the fans plugged into dimmed as well. The only other conclusion I can come up with is the wire connecting the fan circuit board and the USB hub is faulty and needs to be replaced.
Anyone know where I may be able to find a cable similar to the one used for the Cryo LX? I'll leave an image of the cable.

I had the exact cable short out (the end connected to the fan controller was black and refusing to come out to the fan controller). Wrote to the NZXT guys and they're sending me replacement parts!
Truly stellar customer service!
