Having a hard time deciding between the two.

Right now I have an MX518, and even a spare MX500 (that might or might not be reliable..it "broke" before, and now randomly works again)

I'm looking for something lighter more portable, and yes I realize the VX revolution is smaller and its also wireless.

The OCZ seems to be a good gaming mouse though with adjustable DPI, and I have not used the VX Revolution to game with yet. Honestly though, I'm not going to be gaming THAT much on my laptop.

Any suggestions? Wireless isn't THAT huge of a deal for me since the OCZ's mouse cord is quite thin and light.

Anyone happen to have an opinon on the two? Thanks

I own a VX revolution it is a great mouse, runs off just one AA battery was playing counterstrike source with it just a few hours back gaming is ok but my Logitech G7 tops is any day. Love the microgear technology built into the mouse allows you to scroll through pages quickly and when its time to game you can turn off the micro gear and scroll through anything you have slowly.

Overall I like the VX Revolution but for gaming its not the best but its not that bad either.

VX revolution all the way. Not the best for gaming but it is a solid performer all round. Its quite comfortable in the hand too.

well it depends on what you're using it for:
if you want to game..i suggest you use a corded mouse..even though not often..but i will run out of battery..and would suck if it did during a game..
but if you just use to for school/business type of work, a easy to work with wireless should work fine :D

    Guess its the VX then.

I will game time to time on the laptop but only maybe during the boringest of classes :p (no i don't do it often haha). but mainly its going to be for school, and other work. Sadly my laptop is better than my desktop at the moment but that will change in a few months :) I guess if I really wanted a corded mouse i could always just bring my MX mouse hahaa.

VX is really nice, i use one that i picked up durin officemax's 40 dollar sale last month (+10 dollar customer appreciation coupon for 30 total). The doggle slides into the mouse for storage so you dont have to worry bout losing it. The VX Micro i seen is about the same, just a REALLY small doggle
