I'm thinking about buying an ogio fugitive bag online. This bag looks cool and should be a great deal for a college student like me. I have a Asus F3, a 15.4 inch widescreen laptop. i believe this will fit with OGIO fugitive bag. I was wondering if anyone on this forum has this same bag and would share some reviews of it. Thanks alot for helping.

don't have one but that looks really nice, nothing too flashy, looks like a regular book bag.

I don't think your 15.4" notebook will be able to fit into the fugitive...the feature section says it fits roughly 14" notebooks.

no, it fits most 15inch laptop. i sent a letter to ogio customer service about it. only the length is a little bit over but other fits in, so i think i'm okay.

It looks like it has a seperate zipper for the laptop, so if the length is too long it may not close. DId you give Ogio the exact dimensions of your laptop and they said it would fit? If so then I would get it. I was looking at getting it but my nc8430 was bigger than the dimensions listed on ebags so I went with the Ogio "Sector Z" and its perfect and Im not embarassed to walk around with it like most of the laptop bags I have seen.

i really like the looks of fugitive but i guess it won't fit my 15.4 inch laptop. :( i guess i have to go with the ogio metroid.

Like I said earlier, take a look at the Ogio Sector Z. It looks much better than the metroid (doesnt have that ugly waffle pattern on the front).

My Ogio laptop Fugitive bag is right next to me. I bought it for the fall season of classes, and so far it's served me well, but I don't actually have a laptop of my own to carry around with it. I would be wary for 15" or more laptops. I tried a friends 14" alienware and with the new widescreen style the length is barely constrained, plus even a normal 4:3 14" notebook would stick out of the pocket for it. If you really want to protect your laptop, plan on buying a small zippered sleeve for it as well. The laptop portion of the bag consists entirely of a little slightly-padded peice sewed on and a stretcy velcro strap. The little secondary pack will get in your way as well (you'll know what I mean when you get it). They offer these bags at circuit city, so go check one out before you buy. They are the only retailer I know that carries this pack. However they only carry the white/green/brown color scheme, so I ended up oredering mine from amazon.

Without a laptop to check it on the only thing would be carrying capacity, and for that it's pretty small just by the shape of the textbook/main compartment. However, as a plus, the pen and pencil section works great, and the small sleeve up front is excellent for storing class schedules.

Some initial issues I had with the bag: The straps are way over detailed for my tastes.. I was expecting plain black straps but really I got black/grey plus the little chest strap that annoys me to heck but I never have the confidence to cut off. The zippers are also non-YKK, which in my experience usually is wless durable than brand name zippers.

Overall I would recommend it. It's stylish, portable, and comfy. But get something else to cover up your notebook in there, or risk it getting scratched, and/or damaged.
