I recently did away with Comcast cable as it was costing way too much for programming that I never watch or what I could find on the internet. I am looking for a cheap/high quality HDTV antenna so I could receive Over The Air channels. I live in and around the Detroit area and have actually been able to get some decent signals with the rabbit ears that I have now, but I have been reading up on how decent OTA broadcasting has become with HD signals.

You might want to check out the HVR950...I bought it and reviewed it for NBR (see my sig for link) and I'm loving it.

OTA is almost non-existant in Lafayette, IN...but in Indianapolis, IN (where I was when I wrote the review) my HDTV performance was fairly great.

    Anyway, happy reading.
