Hey all, I have the WD passport external drive that, when I bought it had about 120gb. I tried to put about 10gb worth of movies in and it said it was all full. This made me wonder because I don't have much on it. So when I clicked properties to see how much space I actually used it said that I had a total capacity of only 40gb?!?! Can anyone tell me what went wrong and how to get my space back?

    Thank you..Nero

Why don't you format the drive and check the capacity again?

I agree with the format. Also, be sure to check if it is partitioned, maybe there are some hidden partitions on it.
