Ok folks. I have spent the past few months looking for a nice leather messenger style bag for myself. i havent found even one that fits my criteria. i dont know if im not looking in the right place but i have scoured the interent, and looked in countless stores.

Basically, i was a nice leather messenger style bag. It has to be able to fit all of my notebooks. my biggest being my powerbook which is 15.4 inches in length. so the interior dimensions of the bag has to be 15.4 inches. it cant just be for a 15.4 inch laptop, those are actually smaller than 15.4 inches in actual width.

I dont want it to be too bulky either. I dont need a WHOLE lot of space, but i need to be able to toss my ac adapter in in, and a small portable Hard Drive.

I prefer black, but a nice dark brown one would be cool too.

I dont care about the brand, at this point i will take anything that matches my criteria. as long as its not some weirdo chinese bootleg type thing.

also the price limit is about $100. i would do like $120 at most. or if i REALLY abso-friggin-lutely love it, maybe a bit more.

please help guys, theres gotta be something out there for me!

Where ever you choose to buy one, you might try using eBags to narrow down your choices; they used to have a fairly robust search/compare facility.

Your bio says your are in Chicago. Have you been over to Helix to look over the camera bag selection? There are several manufacturers of camera bags that make laptop and messenger style bags. Helix is bound to stock some of them in that giant store on Racine. Don't know about their suburban locations; never been to them.
