I've looked all over the place and I've only found 0 decent reviews on the 26" monitors current out.

I'm currently looking at newegg's selection.

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=2010190020%201309823867&name=26"

The application would be mostly text for my online courses/notes and watching movies. I'm not really sure whether I should gt a 26" or a 24" IPS. All the 26" seem to have some drawback..

Here's what I've found out so far:
    26" LCDs
    Samsung:
    Pros
-Colors are very true and text is sharp.
    Cons
-The 26" has 150 degree vertical viewing angle.
-The brightness is a bit low.
    -Lack of height adjustment

    HP
    Pros
-Colors are very vibrant and rich.
    -Height adjustment
    Cons
-Text is a bit fuzzy and color representation isn't quite true.
    -Stand is humongous

    Asus
?? I haven't read anything about Asus monitors yet.

    LG
I've heard good things about their 24" but haven't heard much about their 26". Anyone know any details?

    24" panels
    NEC

-This is what I'm leaning for.. I'm just worried about spending so much and getting a dead pixel. Any other retailer than the egg have a good dead pixel policy? Does NEC even warranty dead pixels?
-This panel has really good viewing angles..so I'm assuming its PVA?

your links don't work...anyway,if you are looking for good 24" screen, consider samsung t244 and apple 24" LED screen.
