Hi, does anyone have any experience with the ADH warranty offered by Best Buy on Notebooks. I am trying to find out if there are any surprises anyone has encountered when trying to use the ADH warranty.

I had purchased a laptop from them and it is covered by ADH. Trying to find out what damage do they actually cover under the warranty and if there would be any additional charges? How long would it take for them to fix it and do they offer any loaners till they repair the product. Under what circumstances would they replace the product? They say that they will replace the product if it cannot be repaired however is that going to be a comparable product or not and will it be a new product or a refurbished item from their store.

    Thanks for your help.

well, I've purchase various warranties from BB. Most of them are a real pain but on two occasions they have been useful. It can take from two weeks to 4 months maybe more to fix and return things. I was never offered a loaner but they may have changed their policies. They do replace some of the major parts of the computer. It really depends on what the manufacturer will allow. If they can't repair it they are suppose to replace it with an equal or greater product. This is for the most part true.

in a nutshell BB warranties are a hit or miss and you basically have to ask yourself, do I sped the extra cash and have a possible safety net or just skip it and risk breakage in the future.
