    Guys am in need of headphones with best sound quality and good bass.. Currently am set on jvc HA-RX700.. Is it a good choice?

    The HA-RX700 is an awesome set for that price range. I was given that recommendation by the folks at Head-Fi when I asked them pretty much the exact same question, and and they claim it sounds like a much more expensive set. I've never had the luxury of using expensive headphones, but suffice it to say that the RX700 is an awesome headphone.

    Thanks guys.. When i searched about these cans, i saw two mods for it... Should i apply those mods for a better quality? And wats the burn in time for this headphone?

    And burn-in is something some people believe in, some people don't. Usually just play music at normal volume overnight and they are considered "burnt in".

    From what I've read, 100 hours of play is ideal for burn-in. I couldn't tell you whether it's right or wrong, but I did it anyway just to be sure. Plug them into a radio or some other source of constant sound, and let it go. I left mine playing for 3 days, or about 72 hours, and I've probably used them at least that much more since I started listening with them.
