I have a HP dv2800 artist. i have some bookshelf speakers that id like to wirelessly connect to my laptop and play itunes through. my computer has bluetooth so i feel there should be some product that is bluetooth and connects to the headphone jack input on the speakers (aundioengine 5s) and connects to my computer. any suggestions. im not really wanting to mess with airport on a pc because it uses internet and my current internet connection is terrible. thanks

There are various bluetooth transmitters & recievers out there for home theater that use RCA and are made to hook to a amplifier. That would work for you but I think a more direct route would be this.
The first thought that came to my mind, is the little plantroincs bluetooth headphones.
I'll brb with edit I have to go search for the equipment links.
Ok here would be the setup: Something like the plantroincs 260's

(you can find them much cheaper than the 101$ it says on the page) these are bluetooth headphones that work from this little pendant you wear. The pendant gets the signal from a bluetooth device (your laptop) and then sends it to the little earbuds. The earbuds are plugged in via a standard 1/8" jack so you can use your own if you dont want to use the included ones. However what this means for you is unplug those earbuds and plug this in:

Now that audio signal will be sent to the input jack on your speakers (you said headphone jack and I was really confused for awhile, headphone jack by nature means an output port, but after re-reading a few times I understood you were talking about an input jack that is the size of what most consider "headphone")
This seems the most direct way to do what you want to do to me, and as a bonus you have a cool pair of BT earphones you can use with your laptop when you do not want to use the speakers. -
hey thanks for your help, i really like that idea. the only thing is i noticed its battery powered. since i will not be traveling with this id rather it be a plug in device that can remain on at all times. and not have to be recharged.

Yeah if thats the case then you want something like this:

I think this one may even have 1/8" output since it says it includes adapters.
This one is cheap and reviews seem mixed so read them and see if it fits your needs. If not keep searching for similar devices until you find the right one.
My PC is hardwired to my stereo so thats the only reason I don't use one, and I hardly ever use my laptop at home.
