This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     PCMCIA TV Tuners?

    I currently have a USB 2.0 TV Tuner for my laptop, and I am suffering from a 0.5 second lag between me pressing a button on my controller (I use it to play console games) and seeing the results on screen. That is for me very annoying, so I am thinking whether a PCMCIA (higher bandwidth right?) TV tuner would kill the lag.
