Patriot Xporter XT 16GB Flash Drive, comments?

So, I lost my 2GB flash drive recently and need a new one. Besides, I was meaning to upgrade anyway.

Can anyone comment on this and whether it's worth it?

Getting it for 39.99$ with the promo code (3$ off, not much) and free shipping. Then an additional 10$ off after rebate, so $29.99. Worth the buy?

Looking at the newegg comments, it has nice read/write speeds.

or should I go with the Corsair Flash Voyager 16GB? or 8GB? I'd like to go with 8GB or 16GB. 8GB accommodates me fine but 16GB is more GB for the money, for the most part.

 

The Patriot will be faster than the Voyager. I have the 8GB version and it's awesome. The deal is pretty good and since you need one, might as well just go for it.

 

I read some reviews on this product on newegg and most of them are awesome.

 

Hmm... now it's a matter of picking 8GB or 16GB @_@. 16GB is actually only a little less for the GB/$.

(gasp) I did the exact same thing with my iPhone 3G lol. Couldn't decide 8GB or 16GB 199$ or 299$. Decided that 16GB would be "safer". After almost 10 months of use, I now kind of regret getting 16GB. I think the 16GB was bulkier, obviously cost me 100$ + taxes, and I tried to fill the iPhone with crap I wouldn't use (bunch of movies, but really, i'm never going to watch a movie on my iPhone). I've filled less than 6GB...

So, after reminiscing, I realize, 8GB is fine... but not entirely same situation either! The price difference is ~15$ this time.

 

If you have the money, just get the 16GB.
