Someone is about to give me Philips amBX for free. It's a woman who bought it because she tought she could use it to watch movies. I dont know anything about this except it's for gaming and it' a bit like ambilight and sound

Is this good quality and how does it work? Is there anyone with some experience with this product.

that would be distracting and annoying to me :D

I have to admit I have thought about getting just a single or trio of cfcl lights to put behind my triple monitor setup but it would just be a single color and behind the monitors, not all up in my face like that.

This video probably says more than we can:

How is the sound compared to what? High-end audio or cheap computer speakers? "Quality" is a relative term to how much you want to pay, the only way to know if it suits your needs is to plug it in and see if it sounds good or not. And for free, I'd say it can't be horrible.

Id assume it to be in-line with the quality of similarly priced computer speakers.

So good for general use but nothing compared to the quality that can be had with dedicated audio equipment.

I just received it and wow its the premium kit. She didnt ask anything in return, it was too much space in her garage. She tought it was a surround apparently. Ill let you guys know when i played with it for a few hours.
