Plantronics 780 or Corsair Vengeance 1500

does anyone here have any practical experience with either? I'm leaning with the 780 due to price and having owned the gamecom 577... is the vengeance worth the extra cost?

Also interested in the cm storm sirus... anyone have any suggestions?

My friend had the Corsair 1300. His wire broke in like one month though, so I'd be wary about its durability.

However, the 1300 has bigger (50mm) drivers than those in the 780 (40mm). It might make a difference if you listen to music a lot on your computer (especially bass heavy music).

At the same price tag ($99) I bought the Logitech G930. Wireless, great range, and super comfort, with a great sound to boot

I'd recommend the 780's over anything except the G930, only because the 930's are wireless - that's it. The 780's are affordable, sound the same, if not better than the G930, and they are built well. Best thing? They are $60.

I ended up getting the vengeance 2000. I definitely would have gotten the 780s but the only bad reviews were from those with large heads... which I am cursed with. I'll leave an update here with a mini review after I test them out tomorrow
