    So future shop has plantronics audo370 gaming headset on sale for $20, I was thinking of getting it then I realized there not USB, How much of a difference does USB make for mics? Does anyone have this headset? What do you think of it?

    Does anyone know of good/cheap (yeah bad words to go together) mic head sets or stand along mics?

    I don’t think USB makes any difference; it will however bypass your onboard soundcard. Depending on how well the drivers work, it can turn out to be better or worse than your built-in soundcard
