haha... i prefer DIY... i just got two super quiet small 12V fans from old nec projectors, find an old phone charger, link them up in parrellel, prop the back of my notebook up, and put the fans at the back. Never overheats anymore. Even when i play very demanding games, the laptop's temperature is still body temperature.

I have the vantec lapcool with USB hub built in. It is fantastic, keeps the notebook very cool, makes very little noise, and doubles as a hub. Lovin it.

OK, I just ordered the Antec Notebook Cooler through my job, I'll see how it works soon enough.

I've got a Targus Chill Mat I picked up at Best Buy. Works very well, keeps the hard drive temperature low, and circulates the air around nicely underneath the notebook. It's still made of plastic, which is not the best for absorbing heat, but it gets the job done. ;)
