Considering how this is one of the largest notebook forums out there, I would like to ask if there are any "portable" printers, or scanners out in the wild?
I am considering finding or buying one due to the fact that constant travel usually results in frequent printing.

I've seen a portable printer. It's by HP model 460. From what I read you have to buy the battery separately and those are not readily available.

The greatest most reliable portable printer/scanner I've used is the Canon BJC50. I've traveled extensively and had to print hundreds of pages on it. The only issue I have now is without a parallel port on my new Toshiba 4094 I've not found a way to use the Canon. It has been such a great printer that I'm considering carrying two laptops so that I can still keep my printer.

The link above was my request for any help on how to make this work on the new laptop. No help as yet!! Maybe someone will read it here and make my day! -
Bought a Pentax Pocketjet from PortableOne. No ink cartridge required as it uses thermal paper. Bought it because of the really compact design.

As for portable scanners, check out the Docupen. Haven't owned one but it is just so small and portable.
